FIERCE BOUNDARIES

Fierce boundaries hold me upright these days. I ignore my doubting voice and stand tall in my boundaries.
Major changes are happening both within and without every sentient being on this earth.
In honor of Earth Day, the renewal of spring and in light of all these changes within and without, today I honor the journeys. As adults it is our responsibility to foster love and support around us. We cannot uphold that responsibility unless we honor love and support within as well.
The deep wounds of the world are being exposed daily, both within and without. As I dissect the illusions I have held in my 70 plus years on this earth, so too are illusions being busted open all around. We are purging the pain, hurt, humiliation, suffering, shame, heartache and the list goes on. The belief we are all separate is emerging into the illusion it is.
As an adult, I discovered the power of reparenting, using my values to reparent me to provide me with the protective care, respect, love, support and guidance to heal from my pain. By honoring myself, which is an ongoing practice, I learn to honor my inherent worth and dignity as well as the worth and dignity of every sentient being.
Wounded people wound other people. By reparenting myself, I stand up to my wounds and find a sense of hope. I continue to bust up my illusions as I reparent myself.
Every living being on this Earth has inherent worth and dignity. My first responsibility is to reparent myself and instill these traits within. My second responsibility is to encourage worth and dignity everywhere else because we all matter. I deliver this message by smiling when I can, passing on the warmth and gratitude I feel from within. The rest happens because everyone is hungry to feel humanity.
We live our lives doing the best we can, seeking love and acceptance, finding guidance and direction, and helping ourselves and those we love. Fear separates me. Awareness helps me monitor my inner talk so I can catch myself when I forget my worth and dignity.
