I am living my herstory one day at a time, struggling and succeeding, loving and losing, and loving again

I gave myself away in relationships granting other’s wishes ignoring my needs. Now I demonstrate what a boundary feels like.

I say to my teacher I am not ready, I say to myself there must be more, I say to my friend you must be mistaken

I’ve leaned over the edge and fallen into my heart. It happened without me realizing it. I feel so deeply and wonder if I fit in anymore

I never did figure out how to pray like a proper follower of the religion I was brought up in. I had to stop emulating everyone else's ideas
