When I receive a diagnosis, I am set up for expectations. How can I be in expectancy?

Expectancy has been mentioned in 61 of Shirley’s daily meditation readings. And I began wondering when and where we’ve defined the word.

I decided to spend the last year of the 20th century writing a journal where I pondered the moon. And dreams of getting it published.

I’m lost today not knowing what to write about. I put myself up on a pedestal and crash. This past week held stunning miracles of the heart.

Boundaried walls of expectations help me feel safe and yet are limiting. I like to know what to expect. Today I choose to be alive.

No matter what position I put myself in, what positive change I make, what intention I make, what activity I do, I come back to uncertainty.

Whatever outcome, it all takes practice—practice to feel the ease of change; practice to find acceptance; practice to get used to new ideas

It’s been quite the time, the past 365 days. It takes commitment to look into my soul and remember integrity defines me, not fear.

I had some mind-bending experiences as the teacher challenged my belief systems using role-playing in scenarios that mirrored my beliefs.

As pilgrims on this journey, I believe we are walking through a great collective awakening. Let’s look at the evidence. Time has shifted....
