When I receive a diagnosis, I am set up for expectations. How can I be in expectancy?

Expectancy has been mentioned in 61 of Shirley’s daily meditation readings. And I began wondering when and where we’ve defined the word.

I started looking back on all the topics and tools we’ve reflected on over these 500 days. Today, I picked one to look at.

What does 500 days of morning meditation and reflections mean to me? We have explored many topics using metaphors and phrases to learn.

I decided to spend the last year of the 20th century writing a journal where I pondered the moon. And dreams of getting it published.

I'm recovering from good/bad thinking. My good has been defined by high ideals. Hitting a wall is a wakeup call. Pain is a motivator.

I once dug myself into a hole so deep that I had no idea how I would get out. It became my secret. And my burden.

I am made up of two minds. One lives in my human body, aware of my past and present. My other mind lives in my heart where the miracles are.
